I worked as the Art Director for the Portland Mercury, an alt weekly in Portland, OR. I was in charge of the design of the magazine, including managing the art budget, hiring all photographers and illustrators, and art directing photo shoots. I also designed and managed the Portland Mercury brand, including advertising and growing their web presence.
